Join us for a shortened Eucharist service which we affectionately call Rite III. We are preparing to have Breakfast Liturgy with waffles, community, and communion beginning Easter Sunday.
Rite III
There is no Rite III service in the prayer book, but the alternative forms 1 and 2 (pages 402 -405) have been euphemistically called Rite III since the introduction of the 1979 prayer book. These forms for Eucharist are intended for informal use, and may be followed by a meal.
To us ‘church’ simply means being a community of ‘intentional spiritual practice’ in and for the place we live. Our community is creative, contemplative, relationship-focused, and neighborhood-based. Our gatherings are interactive, conversational and participatory. Though coming from different journeys, together we are discovering how to follow God in the Way of Jesus; loving God with our heart, soul, mind, and strength through loving others by living and telling an ancient story.
